It’s A No From Me

Be whatever you are to them;
Or what they are to you.
Honestly, I’m no good with yeses!
But HEY! I’m not trying to.

The prize and price are different;
Just as morals are primeval.
The absence of good is not always
The presence of evil.

Here, there’s no reason to argue;
Meaning… why bother to go?
If you just want to hear what you
…believe and already know.

Sooner or later… all gets tiring
And (belief) is up for hiring.
It is not that everything is a lie;
It is just that I don’t believe.
